Philip & Katie Hewitt Update 5/26

Hello From the Hewitts!

Thank you all for your prayers and support as we had our small church enrichment conference in Nephi Utah Saturday the 18th. It was truly a blessed time! Mckenzy and I traveled to Utah on Friday the 17th and arrived home on Sunday the 19th. A quick trip but very much worth it!

Mckenzy helped in the nursery for part of the time as needed and attended some of the breakout sessions. I spent my time connecting with those in attendance and making myself available for any technology needs they had. I also lead the group in song; it wasn't a huge group but the worship being lifted up during that time was full and encouraging.

It is neat to see what God is doing in Utah and to have so many of his servants gathered together. I know for many of them their days are long and burdens deep as they minister to people in their specific areas; but the Lord is faithful and the works bear fruit! Pray for the people of Utah and the work being done there.

Our next big ministry event will be at the beginning of June (8th-12th). We are directing our church's VBS program as well as the live drama that goes along with it. Please pray that event is successful, well attended, and that the gospel message is clearly shared.

Then, in November, we will be having our small church enrichment conference in Kokomo Indiana. I will also continue to make contact with churches in my area to see how I can serve their needs.

O yeah! Did I mention our oldest daughter, Mckenzy, will be graduating in May? We're planning for a fun memorable time for her as we celebrate her accomplishments and next stage in life. Please pray for her as she seeks the Lord's direction for her life and prepares her next steps!

Philip & Katie Hewitt Update 1/26/26

Do you feel every time you blink it's a new month? This has been my experience lately. With a full time job, family, and ministry work life certainly has been keeping us busy. I must apologize for not communicating with you these last several months.

Over the past few months, I've had the opportunity to help a couple churches/pastors with their tech needs as well as serving my own church in that capacity. We also continue to serve in various other roles at our home church. One new role we volunteered for this year is to direct the VBS program that will be held this summer. We've already begun planning and are looking forward to what we pray will be a life-changing time for children in our community. Please pray for this event! There are over 400 children in our church's neighborhood. We'd like to reach as many of them as possible!

This April BEM will be holding our biennial Small Church Enrichment Conference in Nephi, Utah on April 18th. I will be flying out with my oldest daughter to serve there. My primary goal will be to network with pastors in attendance and to provide any technical assistance needed. Please pray for this event! Pray that the words spoken and our interactions with the local pastors will be an encouragement to them!

In 2026 I will continue to pursue churches that I can be of help to for their technology needs. Also, I will be working with our BEM team in developing a new BEM website. The new modern site will improve communications, making it easier to interface with those we seek to serve. I look forward to the ministry opportunities this year brings!

Also this year we have another child graduating from high school! Mckenzy is completing her senior year. We have lots of planning to do as we work towards her graduation and celebrating this milestone in Mckenzy's life. Please pray for her as she seeks the Lord's will for her life and makes decisions on the path she will take!

Thank you all for continued support and encouragement! Here are a few items you can be in prayer for:

Ministry: April BEM conference – pray for safe travels and effective ministry in Utah. More opportunities to serve local churches in our region.

Personal: Pray we rely on the Lord for strength with our busy schedule. Pray we prioritize time with God in His word. Pray we trust the Lord's provision in all things.
