Our Ministries
Serving pastors, churches, and missionaries through these core ministries.

Pastor / Missionary Refreshment
Our missionary is available to step into pastoral responsibilities for an agreed-upon period at your church, providing support so the pastor and his wife can enjoy a time of rest, renewal, and encouragement.
During this time, our missionary may assist with:
- Preaching during Sunday morning services and Adult Bible Fellowship
- Leading an integrated Bible study program on Sunday evenings and Wednesdays
- Meeting daily with the pastor and his wife during the first week for encouragement, counsel, prayer, and any desired visitation or ministry support
- Providing crisis counseling for individual church members, as approved by the pastor
- Encouraging the pastor and his wife, after the first week, to use the remaining time for spiritual renewal and rest
- Assisting with other ministry tasks or special projects the pastor may request, based on the missionary's experience and abilities

Conflict Resolution
Conflict is a reality in every area of ministry, and BEM is committed to helping churches and leaders pursue biblical reconciliation with wisdom and grace. Our missionaries offer experienced, compassionate support grounded in Scripture, mercy, and love. With years of ministry experience, BEM missionaries are equipped to come alongside churches, pastors, and missionaries to help navigate relational challenges and restore healthy, God-honoring relationships. Whether the conflict is personal or within a ministry setting, BEM approaches each situation with a commitment to biblical truth, humility, compassion, and restoration.

Small Church Enrichment Conferences
Since 2018, BEM has hosted biennial conferences in Kokomo, Indiana, and Nephi, Utah, designed to encourage pastors and lay leaders, strengthen fellowship, and build meaningful connections among small church ministries.
These conferences bring together pastors, ministry leaders, and church members for times of biblical teaching, mutual encouragement, and Christ-centered fellowship. BEM is committed to continually improving each event so it remains both meaningful and relevant to the communities it serves.
If you are interested in hosting a conference in your area, we would love to hear from you.

Pastor Network Initiative
BEM is building a network of like-minded pastors—both active and retired—who are available to serve churches in need of temporary or ongoing support. Through an application process, these pastors are carefully matched with congregations seeking ministry assistance.
This effort is supported through The Triage Fund, which helps cover basic expenses for participating pastors so they can serve without placing a financial burden on the churches they assist. Gifts from churches and individuals make it possible for small congregations to receive this support at no cost.

Technical Support for Churches
BEM offers practical technology support to help churches navigate everyday technical challenges with confidence.
Philip Hewitt serves as BEM's Technology Advisor to Small Churches, providing assistance with a wide range of needs, including computers, networks, audio/visual systems, and streaming.
Support is available through phone consultation, online diagnostics, and in-person assistance.
If your church needs technical guidance or support, Philip is available to help. Please reach out by phone or email to inquire.
